Family Yoga is here for everyone! – kids 5-10yrs, mums, dads, grandparents, carers. And you do not need to be super fit, just a willing spirit! Who knew yoga could be so much fun!
During this 1.5 hour class we will explore:
✨The traditional yoga poses through fun, laughter and playfulness. ✨Acro Yoga - for everyone ✨Breathing, calming and relaxing activities ✨Connecting to each other ✨Gentle meditations and guided imagery Yoga is great for creating a feeling calm and happiness, and can help parents and kids to relax in each other’s presence. You’ll return home feeling rejuvenated, fully stretched, overflowing with love in your hearts, and a sparkle in your eyes!

Each class will be from 11-12:30 at the Tree Room, Colchester.

Sleep Yoga classes at the Tree Room, Colchester
A chronic insomniac from primary school until her late teens, Eve wishes she’d known earlier just how effective simple mindbody tools can be for better sleep. These Sleep Yoga classes include pranayama (breath practices), asana (physical practice – suitable for all levels), self-care tools and a yoga nidra.
The first Sleep Yoga course at the Tree Room starts on Tuesday, 9th January, 2018 and runs every Tuesday from 5-6pm until 13th February.

Yoga and meditation are both tremendous resources to draw on when experiencing the challenging and powerful sensations that might be experienced at times of high anxiety and stress. We will be working with grounding poses to assist in establishing a safe harbour for the mind.
Learning techniques for managing intense sensations and moving of awareness to experience other sensations in and outside of the body. We will also, inherently be working building trust between body and mind, healing the body-mind relationship; where the body and mind become allies each supporting the role of the other. This workshop is a perfect compliment to any other treatment and requires no prior experience with yoga or meditation.
